O’Reilly’s young guns prepare for Swiss clash

IRELAND’S U18 squad, under Noel O’Reilly, will face Switzerland for the Bronze Medal at the European Olympic Tournament in Lignano, Italy, at 1.30pm (Irish time) today.

Ireland lost 4-2 to Italy but beat Finland 1-0 in the opening games in the Tournament this week. Finland drew 1-1 with Italy leaving the hosts playing Croatia in the Final.

All O’Reilly’s players are home based and according to the manager have performed exceptionally well this week, especially against the professional Italians

O’Reilly will not name his team until just before kick-off, to give the few carrying knocks every chance of making it.
