Everton rocked by Li Tie injury

EVERTON midfielder Li Tie broke his right leg in a training-ground clash on international duty with China and will miss the rest of the season.

The 26-year-old fractured his right leg in a tackle with team mate Yang Pu as China prepared for their first qualifying match for the 2006 World Cup finals, which they won 1-0 against Kuwait in Beijing on Wednesday.
