Hoddle confident ahead of return trip

GLENN HODDLE has said there is a positive vibe in the Tottenham camp as they prepare to return to Southampton for today’s FA Cup third round clash.

Spurs lost 1-0 at the St Mary’s Stadium in the Premiership on New Year’s Day, which came on the back of last Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Newcastle, but the manager believes his team was unlucky not to win both games.

“The last couple of games were very frustrating because we performed well enough to win them,” said Hoddle.
