I did not insult Benitez, says Dudek

JERZY DUDEK has moved to clear the air with manager Rafael Benitez after claims that he did not want to play for Liverpool again.

I did not insult Benitez, says Dudek

And he insists he has not made a personal attack on the Liverpool chief, claiming: “You do not insult someone you respect.”

The Polish goalkeeper has been kept in the shadows by new signing Jose Reina and has voiced concerns about a lack of first-team action and the effect it will have on his place in Poland’s World Cup finals squad.

Dudek was also been credited with alleged remarks that he thought the Anfield chief was talking “rubbish” over claims that Liverpool want £3m to allow the 32-year-old to leave.
