City boss avoids crystal ball-gazing

SIX games to go for Cork City, five for Derry City. The big two are still on a collision course to decide the eircom League on the final day of the season in Turner’s Cross.

But don’t tempt Cork manager Damien Richardson into looking too far ahead, not when both sides face similar challenges tonight with league strugglers St Pats and Waterford United providing the opposition at the Cross and the Brandywell respectively.

“These are dangerous games, dangerous days,” says Richardson, “but we’re used to that. The only way to overcome any danger is purely by concentration.
