Juninho on verge of Celtic move

JUNINHO insists he is on the verge of completing his move to Celtic. The Middlesbrough star underwent a medical on Wednesday and the fine details of his transfer still need some ironing out.

But the 31-year-old, who has slipped down the pecking order at the Riverside Stadium, admitted he was on the verge of penning a contract with the Scottish champions.

When asked if he had already signed for the Parkhead club, Juninho said: “Not yet. Nearly.”
