Middlesbrough sign Parlour on three-year deal
The 31-year-old travelled to Teeside on Thursday after Boro and the Gunners agreed a deal.
Parlour’s agent Steve Kutner revealed yesterday the Romford-born England international had been offered a three-year deal.
Parlour admitted it was hard to leave Arsenal but feels the signings of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Michael Reiziger and Mark Viduka give Middlesbrough a chance of more silverware this season.
“The players they’ve brought in are fantastic, the squad has a very good chance of progressing from last season,” said Parlour, who has signed a three-year contract after his free transfer from Highbury.
