SOUTHAMPTON head coach Steve Wigley expects to be in charge at St Mary’s until the end of the season - despite reports linking Glenn Hoddle with his job.

The Saints’ win against Portsmouth on Saturday was their first in the Premiership since the departure of Paul Sturrock as manager.

The south coast side moved out of the bottom three after the 2-1 win, with reports suggesting defeat would spell the end of Wigley’s reign.
