Duff decider lifts Dundee and stuns Rangers

An eighth-minute goal from Stuart Duff sealed the shock result of the season and helped the Terrors off the bottom of the table. Jim McIntyre flighted an inviting looking cross into the box and Duff took advantage of static defending from Rangers to connect with the header a few yards out.

Goalkeeper Ronald Waterreus managed to block the initial effort but he could not prevent Duff from nodding home the rebound.

Rangers squandered numerous chances to save the game notably through Dado Prso and Hamed Namouchi and Nacho Novo had an effort cleared off the line.
