Harry keen on Clinton

SOUTHAMPTON manager Harry Redknapp has not given up hope of signing Birmingham striker Clinton Morrison.

Birmingham have confirmed bids from Crystal Palace and Norwich for the Republic of Ireland international, and the Saints are adamant they are still in the chase. Redknapp said “I am hoping we still have a chance of getting him. The chairman is working on it and that’s all you can ask.” “I believe we have made a similar offer to Palace and if it is accepted then I can speak to him and try to persuade him to come here.”
