Injured Ndo to line out for Shels

CAMEROON international winger Joseph Ndo will play through the pain barrier in a bid to help Shelbourne reach the new-look Group stages of the UEFA Cup in tomorrow’s first round proper, first leg tie against top French side Lille at Lansdowne Road (kick-off 7pm, live on RTÉ 2).

“I am still hopeful he can start this match despite the fact that he has had a pelvic problem in recent weeks,” said Shels boss Pat Fenlon.

“Lille are a very useful side and physically strong. Again we will be the underdogs and that is no problem.
