Redknapp rues lost opportunity as Addicks strike late

Portsmouth took the lead with a stunning strike from Andres D'Alessandro five minutes before the interval and appeared to be coasting to a victory which would have lifted them six points clear of the relegation zone.

Redknapp is convinced Birmingham and West Brom, Portsmouth's nearest rivals at the bottom of the Premiership, would have buckled under the pressure of closing that kind of gap.
