Milan aiming to prove they are Real contenders for glory

GROUP winners AC Milan will be disappointed with anything less than a win when they play Real Madrid in the Champions League tonight, according to playmaker Rui Costa.

“If we really want to win the Champions League, it’s better to eliminate Real,” the Portuguese star said yesterday.

Milan have already booked thei r place in the last eight after taking a maximum 12 points from four matches, including a 1-0 victory against the reigning European champions in their previous meeting at the San Siro.
