Pennant pledges future to Brummies

MIDFIELDER Jermaine Pennant has pledged his future to Birmingham - even if they lose their battle to remain in the Premiership.

Pennant insisted that he “won’t be jumping ship” if Blues surrender their top flight status after four years.

They are currently three points adrift of fourth from bottom West Brom after Saturday’s fortuitous 1-1 draw with Bryan Robson’s side at St Andrews but with a match in hand. Pennant has been one of City’s best players this season despite more of the off-the-field headlines which blighted his time at Arsenal.
