Pennant pledges future to Brummies
Pennant insisted that he “won’t be jumping ship” if Blues surrender their top flight status after four years.
They are currently three points adrift of fourth from bottom West Brom after Saturday’s fortuitous 1-1 draw with Bryan Robson’s side at St Andrews but with a match in hand. Pennant has been one of City’s best players this season despite more of the off-the-field headlines which blighted his time at Arsenal.
He was linked with a move to Liverpool during the January transfer window but has made it clear he will remain to help Birmingham try to gain promotion if they do go down in May.
