Wenger cries foul on video evidence

ARSENE WENGER has called for a radical overhaul of the video evidence system, which would ensure that David Beckham was investigated alongside Thierry Henry for weekend elbow incidents.

The Arsenal boss believes Henry is being ‘‘unfairly’’ looked at by the Football Association for allegedly elbowing Charlton’s John Robinson and wants all such controversial incidents to be routinely reviewed.

In theory, that would mean Beckham also coming under the microscope for a similar incident at Elland Road even though Wenger doubts whether he is guilty of misconduct.
