Lita out for rest of season

LEROY LITA’S next game for Reading will almost certainly be in the Premiership after the striker broke an ankle during the victory over Burnley at Turf Moor, ruling him out for the season.

The Royals edged closer to automatic promotion but it was overshadowed by injury to Lita, who had contributed 15 goals for the Coca-Cola Championship leaders during the campaign.

Royals physio Jon Fearn said: “Unfortunately, I think his season is over.”
