Scout vows to be Celtic saviour

NEW Celtic head of international scouting Ray Clarke is convinced he can save the club a fortune by unearthing prize gems from across the globe.

The former Tottenham, Ajax, Bruges and Newcastle striker has left his post as chief scout at St James’ Park for a new challenge with the Glasgow giants.

Clarke will have overall responsibility for the Hoops’ professional scouting and will be involved in restructuring their scouting operation throughout the world.
