Yobo ready to extend stay at Everton

Everton head to Charlton aiming to end their dreadful record of failing to win in London this season, aware Europe is virtually beyond them while their manager is already assessing next season’s prospects.

With Yobo having failed to sign a contract that has been on the table for a year, plus the likes of Nigel Martyn, David Weir, Alan Stubbs and Duncan Ferguson all out of contract this summer, Moyes has plenty on his mind.

Yobo said: “Contracts do not get settled in a day. There is no problem between my advisors and the chairman.”
