Govou replaces PSG midfielder Jerome Rothen, who picked up a thigh injury in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Nice and will be out for around two weeks.

Reveillere comes in for Juventus defender Jonathan Zebina, who is also suffering from a thigh injury.

Lyon striker Govou, who has scored three goals in his 16 appearances for France, was initially overlooked for the World Cup qualifiers and last played for the national side during their 2-1 friendly win over Hungary in May.

Centre-back Gael Givet is also giving Domenech an injury headache. The Monaco defender limped off the pitch during his side's goalless draw with Lens on Sunday suffering from an Achilles problem.

Domenech's squad bolstered by the return of Zinedine Zidane, Claude Makelele and Lilian Thuram from retirement are at their training base in Clairefontaine, near Paris, to prepare for Saturday's match against the Faroe Islands in Lens, before they travel on to Dublin to face Ireland on Wednesday.
