Italians need to take point off Republic

SEAN McCAFFREY’S Republic of Ireland side face Italy in the final game of their UEFA U19 Championship qualifying group at Turners Cross tonight (7pm)having already qualified for the finals next Spring.

The Italians, though, still need a point to progress. A win for the Republic and victory for Northern Ireland by more than two goals against Moldova in Cobh will see the North progress at Italy’s expense.
