O’Neill wins FAI award

CELTIC manager Martin O’Neill has been named eircom/FAI International Personality of the Year for 2004.

O’Neill will be presented with his award at the eircom/FAI International awards at the Citywest Hotel on February 6 as he follows in the footsteps of the likes of Michel Platini, Franz Beckenbauer, Nobby Stiles, Pat Jennings and Bobby Moore.
