Both the home side’s goals were scored by debutant Mikael Forssell, cancelling out strikes from Louis Saha and Luis Boa Morte.

Purse’s dismissal followed that of Sylvain Legwinski for the home side, as the former Oxford and Leyton Orient man tried to wrench the ball back off Boa Morte following Forssell’s second equaliser.
