Cole suspension reduced after appeal to FA

FULHAM striker Andy Cole has had his three-match suspension reduced to one by the FA on appeal.

Cole suspension reduced after appeal to FA

Cole had been suspended for six games after incidents in the away fixture against West Brom last month when he was sent off for violent conduct. He was red carded after appearing to punch Albion defender Neil Clement and has already served an automatic three-game ban for the dismissal.

However, the FA disciplinary commission banned him for a further three games - an extra one match ban for violent conduct and two games for using ‘abusive and/or insulting words to a match official’.
