Rhyl make a move for Gazza

WELSH champions Rhyl expect to learn next week if they have a realistic chance of signing Paul Gascoigne.

Rhyl make a move for Gazza

Gazza has held talks with Rhyl owner Peter Parry about joining the ambitious north Wales outfit and given an indication he would like to join them.

Gascoigne’s arrival would certainly be a statement of intent by Rhyl, who won four trophies this season and secured a European berth for the first time.

The former England star has been without a club since returning home from an ill-fated stint in China.
