CORK CITY manager Damien Richardson has expressed disappointment at the departure of Liam Kearney and John O’Flynn from the club but has wished both players well for the future.

Striker O’Flynn, who came back from injury to score the opening goal in the title-clincher against Derry City, recently spent a week on trial at English League One side Swansea City and is believed to be considering offers from three English clubs.

It’s understood that Kearney, who grabbed the second goal in that memorable Derry game, is set to link up with Dutch Premier Division side Heerenveen.
