Donovan out of Setanta unless City make it to decider

CORK CITY will have to reach the final of the Setanta Cup if winger Roy O’Donovan is to play any further part in the competition.

O’Donovan was yesterday handed an additional two-game suspension, having already missed one match following his sending off for violent conduct in the 2-0 win over Dungannon Swifts.

The decision means that O’Donovan will miss the last group game against Drogheda United on March 27 as well as the semi-final, for which City have already qualified, on April 11/12.
