Robert moves to Bolton

Laurent Robert looks set to end his unsteady spell with Newcastle by joining Bolton on a three-year contract.

The 30-year-old French winger is expected to sign a three-year deal at the Reebok Stadium after a mixed four years at St James' Park.

Newcastle and Bolton are understood to have agreed a fee of £1.5million - £8million less than the Magpies paid for him - and the player is expected to sign if he passes a medical today.
