CHELSEA striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was yesterday cleared of violent conduct by the Football Association.

The FA's disciplinary commission viewed video evidence of an incident involving the Dutch striker during the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Scarborough on January 24.

Hasselbaink appeared to elbow Scarborough defender Mark Hotte as both players lay on the ground following a tackle during the game, which Chelsea won 1-0 with a goal from John Terry.
