Ljungberg wants to extend Arsenal career

FREDDIE LJUNGBERG has revealed his determination to extend his career at Arsenal - and finally make the breakthrough in the Champions League.

Ljungberg’s current deal runs out at the end of next season and speculation has already begun that Arsenal may cash in on the Sweden international this summer to raise transfer funds.

However, Ljungberg revealed talks had already started with the club over a contract extension and he is hopeful an agreement can be reached.
