LIVERPOOL have indicated they will be looking for a personal hearing from the Football Association after midfielder Steven Gerrard was yesterday charged with violent conduct.

Gerrard faces a three-match ban if he is found guilty of the offence, which follows his ugly lunge on Everton's Gary Naysmith in the closing stages of the Merseyside derby at Anfield on December 22.

Referee Graham Poll missed the incident but the matter was taken up by the FA's video panel.
