Wenger: Henry’s best is still to come

ARSENE WENGER believes that Thierry Henry is not yet at his peak — and insisted the Arsenal striker was still short of the ‘‘golden age’’ of his career.

Henry has been named the Premiership player of the month for September, with eight goals to his name already this season.

He faces a fitness test on a hamstring injury ahead of tomorrow’s game against Sunderland at Highbury, with Sylvain Wiltord on standby to replace him up front.
