Kiev midfielder told he can resume career

DYNAMO KIEV coach Jozsef Szabo has been boosted by the news that midfielder Tiberiu Ghioane has been cleared to make a return to training after initial fears for his playing future.

The Romanian international suffered a suspected stroke at the club’s winter training camp in Portugal and was diagnosed as having suffered a micro cerebral thrombosis.

However, after detailed examinations, club doctor Victor Berkovskyi has declared that the 23-year-old can resume his career.

“German doctors concluded that he survived a serious stress due to family reasons, and no other pathologies were discovered. That’s why he can continue training,” Berkovskyi said.

Second-placed Dynamo will resume their chase of league leaders Shakhtar Donetsk when the Ukrainian Premier League opens after the winter break on March 3.
