Kinnear: no plans to sell Reid

NOTTINGHAM FOREST boss Joe Kinnear has reassured supporters he has no plans to sell off prized assets Andy Reid and Michael Dawson.

Kinnear is eager to reinforce the City Ground playing staff and has been told arrivals must be financed by departures.

But he said: “When I talk about wheeling and dealing, I’m not particularly talking about losing Andy Reid of Michael Dawson.

“I’m trying to build a side here, not dismantle one.

“There are other players here for whom I think we can get good value on the transfer market.

“We could also create room to manoeuvre by allowing players to go out on loan until the end of the season.”
