Spurs’ two new signings impress

NEW Tottenham signings Mido and Mounir El Hamdaoui have been given a glowing report after coming through their first match for the club.

Egypt international Mido joined the White Hart Lane club last week on an 18-month loan deal from Roma and on Tuesday night experienced his first taste of Premiership football, albeit as an unused substitute in a 3-1 defeat at Bolton.

Moroccan El Hamdaoui, signed from Belgian side Excelsior on a three-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee, was not even included on the bench at the Reebok Stadium.
