The teenage sensation has one last chance against Newcastle United tonight to prove that he should keep the gloves for the big kick-off against Motherwell at Parkhead on Sunday.

As the new season approaches, Scotland coach Berti Vogts is also searching for a number one for the World Cup qualifiers but Marshall is just focused on matters at Parkhead.

“I have not really thought about the Scotland situation,” said the Scotland U-21 international.

“Getting in here and doing well for your club is the most important thing.”
