Vieira pledges future to Gunners

GUNNERS captain Patrick Vieira has once again pledged his future to the north London club.

The Frenchman is constantly linked with a move away from Highbury, but Vieira insists he is happy with the Gunners and expects to sign an extension to his current contract soon. "The speculation doesn't really bother me. I have a contract here so in my mind it is fine," the French midfielder said yesterday.

"The contract finishes in 2004 so we are just going to start talking. We've not found the right moment yet but we will find a solution.
