Becks wants to end career at Real

ENGLAND captain David Beckham has scoffed at rumours of his possible departure from Real Madrid.

Becks wants to end career at Real

Beckham, who was speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, is aware Madrid’s second successive season without a major trophy has revived speculation he might move on.

However, the 30-year-old has denied he has any intention of leaving Real Madrid.

“Every day there are rumours like this, that I am going to London or Manchester, but it is something that has been said since the first day I signed,” he said.

“I am very happy in Real Madrid and I want to end my career here. I want to stay all the time the club wants me too.

One of the reasons Beckham is so happy at Madrid is the presence of coach Wanderley Luxemburgo, who took over in the Bernabeu just before the New Year.

Luxemburgo has returned Beckham to the right of midfield and, although Beckham always insisted he enjoyed playing in the centre, he now admits the wing is where he does his best work.
