Gallas future at Blues in doubt as Juve interest stepped up

THE future of Chelsea’s versatile defender William Gallas remains uncertain despite claims from the player that he is happy at Stamford Bridge.

Italian giants Juventus, linked with a move for the player in the January transfer window, are reported to have increased their interest in the Frenchman, watching him closely during Chelsea’s Champions League exit to Barcelona.

Gallas, who scored a late winner against Tottenham on Saturday, insists he is happy at the club, despite not being able to play in his more accustomed centre-half position.
