Cole backs Gunners to come out firing against FC Thun

ASHLEY Cole has backed Arsenal to bounce back from Saturday’s dismal defeat by Middlesbrough and hit FC Thun where it hurts in tomorrow night’s Champions League opener.

The Gunners suffered their second setback of the season at the Riverside with a performance manager Arsene Wenger slammed as “unacceptable” and error-strewn.

Cole felt Arsenal lacked composure in the final third, and their cause against the Swiss will not be helped by the continued absence of Thierry Henry, who is still suffering a calf injury.
