Hitzlsperger fear for O’Leary

DAVID O’LEARY has admitted that money will be the over-riding factor in deciding whether midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger remains with Aston Villa.

The German international is out of contract in the summer with few indications that he is close to putting pen to paper on a new deal. Several clubs in Germany are interested in signing him.

The Villa manager is convinced that Hitzlsperger would like to stay, but he knows that Villa have to come up with a decent financial offer.
