Northampton keeping close eye on Nagle

PROMISING Munster lock Ian Nagle has attracted the attentions of English Premiership giants Northampton Saints.

A spokesperson for the Franklin’s Gardens outfit said they do not comment on players leaving or joining the club but sources confirmed they watched Nagle in action on Friday for Munster A in their win over Nottingham in the British and Irish Cup.

Ironically, the 22-year-old was yesterday added to Tony McGahan’s squad for their final Heineken Cup pool game against London Irish on Saturday.
