Finlay Bealham, Hugh Gavin and Shayne Bolton will be unavailable for Connacht for the coming weeks as Connacht issue an update on the squad following their narrow loss to Montpellier at the weekend as they look to get back to winning way when they welcome Montauban to the Dexcom Stadium on Saturday (8pm).

Ireland international Finlay Bealham is set to be unavailable for a couple of weeks following a knee injury he picked up against Leinster at the Aviva Stadium in the new year. Shayne Bolton is expected to be unavailable until April following a quad injury he picked up in the away clash against Dragons last month.

Hugh Gavin underwent surgery for his shoulder injury which is expected to see him sidelined for approximately three months. Josh Ioane will also be unavailable this weekend after he picked up a head injury during the game last weekend in Montpellier.

In better news, Jack Aungier (elbow), Jack Carty (ribs), Matthew Devine (head), Dave Heffernan (calf) and Sean Naughton (ankle) will all be available for selection following their respective injuries.

Caolin Blade (Achilles) and Colm Reilly (hamstring) are set to return to training later in the week with the view to be available for the Leinster clash next week.

There are no updates on the long term injury players Temi Lasisi, Oisin Dowling, Shamus Hurley-Langton, Byron Ralston and Mack Hansen as they continue to progress through their rehabiliation programmes.
