Kenny set for Champions Cup bow as Leinster and La Rochelle sides named for Aviva clash

Leinster head coach has named his side to take on Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle in Round 3 of the Champions Cup at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday (kick-off, 5.30pm).

Joshua Kenny is set to make his Champions Cup debut on the wing with Tommy O’Brien on the opposite side and Ciarán Frawley at full-back.

Sam Prendergast has been named at out-half with Jamison Gibson-Park at scrum-half, while Robbie Henshaw will partner Rieko Ioane in the centre.

Paddy McCarthy and Thomas Clarkson will scrum down on either side of Dan Sheehan in the front row as Joe McCarthy and James Ryan make up the second row.

Props Tadhg Furlong, Andrew Porter and Rabah Slimani have not been named in Cullen's squad.

Caelan Doris captains the team from number eight, with Jack Conan and Josh van der Flier completing the back row.

Jerry Cahir and Andrew Sparrow are both in line for their Champions Cup debuts from the bench with Rónan Kelleher, Diarmuid Mangan and Max Deegan completing the forward cover. 

Luke McGrath and Harry Byrne offer cover for the half-backs, with Andrew Osborne completing the matchday 23.
