Ireland and Leinter back Ciarán Frawley is set for a move out west to Connacht next season it is reported.

Speaking on the Rugby Weekly Podcast for The 42 Bernard Jackman reported that Frawley is set for a move to Galway following nine seasons with his home province.

It is reported that Connacht are looking to use the versatile 28-year-old primarily as an out-half.

Frawley has made 117 appearances for Leinster and has earned nine caps for Ireland. He made his debut for Leinster when he came on as a first half substitution against Scarlets in February 2018, when he was still in his first year at the Leinster Academy.

The Skerries man has made eight appearances, five as starter, for Leinster to date this season mostly at inside centre but in recent weeks at fullback.

Frawley has previously worked with Connacht Head Coach Stuart Lancaster during his time at Leinster.
