French outfit Perpignan have an agreement in place for the signing of All Blacks winger Sevu Reece, subject to the club remaining in the Top 14 beyond the current season.
According to French publication the Catalan club, currently rock bottom of the Top 14 standings, have made Reece their first signing for the 2026/27 campaign.
However, the agreement will only be finalised if the club escapes relegation, which is a tall order given they are six points below Montauban and 22 points behind Lyon.
Reece is a 37-time capped New Zealand international and has been a key contributor during the Crusaders’ recent success in Super Rugby.
Reece's possible arrival follows the club’s continued efforts to recruit established international players as they aim to secure greater stability in the Top 14.
