For a while, Jack Daly thought his professional rugby career was dead. He’d taken a gamble by moving Down Under. It seemed like it had gone belly up.

The former Munster man made contact with Western Force when he got to Australia. Playing in the new Super Rugby AUS competition was a possibility. Then it fell through. The club had players returning from injury and preferred to give them the opportunity.
