Osborne 'leading by actions' in elevated Ireland role

With a number of Irish retirements, and a multitude away with the British and Lions, the 23-year-old has taken on an elevated role in interim head coach Paul O'Connell's Ireland squad for their tour of Georgia and Portugal.

Jamie Osborne has shone with both Leinster and Ireland when opportunities have been afforded to him over the last number of years. 

A 2024 Test debut in the Summer tour to South Africa was one he had to wait for, having been involved in Irish squads for several years previously without getting his chance.
