Munster back Diarmuid Kilgallen and forward duo Brian Gleeson and Evan O'Connell will train with Paul O'Connell's Ireland squad ahead of their tour to Georgia and Portugal this summer.
Kilgallen, Gleeson and O'Connell have linked up with the squad as training panellists, as there is unfortunate news for Ulster back-row James McNabney, who has suffered a torn ACL.
22-year-old McNabney - who has enjoyed a fruitful start to his Ulster career - was due to be part of the squad as an additional training panellist. In his place come O'Connell, nephew of interim head coach Paul - and No. 8 Gleeson.
Winger Kilgallen will train with the squad as provincial teammate Calvin Nash is "nursing an ankle injury which will limit his on-field participation this week".
The called-up trio are not expected to tour with the squad, barring further injuries to the travelling squad.
The squad will train on Thursday and next week in the HPC before departing for Tbilisi on Wednesday, July 2.
