Carty pens contract extension, Hansen ruled out for five weeks with ankle injury

Bundee Aki (heel), Caolin Blade (ankle) and Denis Buckley (quad) are all available for selection having missed the trip to South Africa while long term absentee Sean O'Brien is back following his hamstring injury.

Connacht's all-time record points scorer Jack Carty has penned a contract extension for the 2025/26 season while winger Mack Hansen has been ruled out for five weeks due to an ankle injury.

The Roscommon native made his debut in 2012 and has gone on to score 1277 points for the province across 220 appearances and looks to increase the record in the coming season.
