Munster insist they have parked the refereeing mishap that left them short-handed for 13 minutes of their home defeat to the Bulls having received an admission from URC referees’ boss Tappe Henning that mistakes were made by the Thomond Park match officials on Saturday.

Munster’s 16-13 defeat has left them in seventh place in the URC standings with three rounds left to play of the regular season and fighting to hang on to the top-eight position which will guarantee both a play-off quarter-final berth and qualification for next season’s Champions Cup.
